I felt pretty left out during my first class in England. I was the only Chinese in the class and I transferred on my second year. Everyone pretty much had already formed their own social circle and it was a bit difficult to squeeze in. But in the end, despite being timid (at the time), I managed to find myself a bunch of people who were just superb. You’re making me feeling really really grateful for the friends that I have.

I hope you find more friends you can connect with and even if you don’t, based on my personal experience, usually having 2–3 people we can be really close to is already enough.

Having said that, if you need someone to talk to, you can always drop me an e-mail at agneslouis3108@gmail.com. I’d be more than happy to be your pen-pal :)
