Oh love, I feel you. When my mom suddenly passed away last year, some people came to me offering ‘fixes’. They told me to abandon my life abroad and just come home and stay forever. Some of them even told me I should get married soon during the wake for my mom because in Chinese tradition, if you don’t get married within 100 / 365 days of a close relative’s death you have to wait for 3 years. I wish these people would have just shut up and given me a hugs. Thank God there were more people who did just that, offered me comfort, than those who are insensitive. Thank you for sharing your experience, love. Sending you lots of healing and hugs. I hope you figure things out in your own time ❤
