Tim Gray It always gets a bit tricky when money is involved but yes this would be the case where we forgive but not forget. Sometimes we also feel guilty for letting ourselves get hurt without really realizing we’re feeling guilty about it. We then forgive ourselves by learning from our experiences and making sure it doesn’t happen again.

Another example: we have a toxic relationship with a man or a woman and we end up getting hurt, either physically or emotionally. We might blame ourselves for letting it happened in the first place. We are as much as fault as the person who abuses us because we chose to stay in the relationship (if we want to be honest with ourselves and own our decisions). We need to forgive ourselves first to move forward. But we make sure we don’t forget so we don’t end up falling in the same hole again.

Thank you for your response! It’s a really good example and thank you for reading! I wish you a wonderful day filled with happiness!
